Levandusky Train
This was a commission for a little boy's room in a vacation home in Arizona. It was surprisingly hard because I don't normally draw/paint vehicles. Had to do some research on trains. My son did not want to give this one up.

A little holiday shopping
The Cool Cleveland network tells about everything that's going on around town, from news, arts and entertainment to the best parties and events. This time of year they have a shopping guide to help keep our money here in the community rather than buying holiday gifts at big box stores.
This year I'm happy to have been included for the first time. Check it out at
http://coolcleveland.com/index.php?n=Main.CoolClevelandHolidayGuide
after you've finished looking at my own site, of course!

Little Christina
On a visit to my paternal grandmother's house much fuss was made over
an expensive and exotic plant that had finally bloomed after 2 years
of coaxing. After returning to the house, imagine their surprise to
see a 3 year old (me) proudly holding the blossom. I had yanked it
right off; no stem, just the flower. It couldn't even be put in a
vase. According to my mother, grandma had to excuse herself for a few
minutes. I imagine we left shortly thereafter.

For the Love of Leda
Zeus was so enamored of the mortal Leda that he transformed into a swan in order to seduce her. Apparently back then that sort of thing worked when trying to impress women.
