When I met my husband, he was an outdoorsy guy who happened to have a fleece pullover with a pattern called Zen Turtle. I wanted that fleece. Never did get it, but since we recently celebrated our 8th (wow!) anniversary I thought I'd commemorate it with a zen turtle painting.

Thank you Hemingray, it was a Patagonia pattern so it may very well have been influenced by Hawaii. Maybe I should go there and find out!
